A Change of Scene
I haven’t been able to get a whole done today. My concentration is not good. I seem to working on a bunch of stuff at once, but not really getting anything finished. Also, there have been a number of distractions since I’ve started. With the hopes that a change of scenery might help, I’ve packed everything up and started working outside. So far, so good. Although, it’s clouding over rather quickly. I hope it doesn’t rain.
Got through chapter 16…finally. Just a few more tweaks and then I’m posting it with my crit group. The WIP continues to move well. I’ve been hitting my word count goal everyday. So yay! I must admit, getting any writing done lately is quite a challenge. However, my board game skills have never been so good.
We found a new floor for the kitchen. Actually, I like the new floor more and it was about half the price of the first one we saw. Also ordered a new fridge and dishwasher, but we won’t get them until next week. I can not express how ridiculously excited I am at the prospect of new appliances.
Mood: Distracted

Glad things are moving along smoother for you, Dawn. Glad you found the flooring you wanted–it being cheaper is sweet.
July 16th, 2009 at 3:07 pmI am in the EXACT boat as you: doing too many things at once and none really shine. I should move outside, too. Maybe I’ll try that tomorrow.
Off to read your chap! Can’t wait
Glad your floor is going to work out for ya.
