Summer Writing
As you may have guessed from the sudden lack of posts on my blog, school has finished. Actually, it finished more than a week ago, and I am now wrapped up in the constant struggle to maintain some semblance of a writing schedule. The weather has been lousy for the most part too. I’m not sure if this is a good or bad thing. Rainy, cold days mean DS is playing inside so I can work in my office longer, but it also means he’s borred and looking for entertainment. Today, we played The Game of Life and Clue…twice.
As for writing, I’m adding a new scene to Blood and Bone that’s taking me forever to write. I’d be wondering if I was suffering from writer’s block if I wasn’t having much better luck on the WIP. I will push on. I’m determined to have the chapter finished by the end of the week if not sooner.
We’re still hard at work on the kitchen. We ordered our floor this past weekend. This morning I noticed the flooring company’s number on my phone. I was sure they were calling me to let me know that our flooring was in. So imagine my disappointment when I listened to the message telling that the floor we wanted had been discontinued and that they didn’t have enough left in stock for us. Obviously, we’re back to floor hunting again.
I guess that’s it for now. I will try to blog more often.
