Snowy Monday Morning

So it seems winter isn’t quite dead yet. This morning I woke to find last week’s starting to green grass covered in the white stuff. According to weather reports, we’re to be hit with 10 to 20cm before the day is done. Sigh. Hard to believe yesterday we were out the back barbecuing. Granted, not warm enough to sit out, but we didn’t need to wear coats either. On the upside, it’s supposed to be warm and sunny by next week end.

This week I have a ton of stuff to get done. Not the least of which is getting back into the WIP. Trying to find the momentum again is always a problem if I back burner a work in progress.  Although, sometimes a little space can help. At the time that I set the story aside, I was struggling with the conflict between the hero and the heroine, there just wasn’t enough. Since going back and rereading what I had written, I realized what the problem was and how to fix it. Strange when you see just which characters have chemistry and which ones don’t.

I also will continue foraging ahead with Blood and Bone rewrites. I’ve reached the halfway mark and this is the part of the story the requires the most work. Still, I’m hoping to get through and least two three chapters this week.

Anyway, lots to do.

Taking a break from our work really does refresh our vision and enable us to “see” issues, doesn’t it. Sooooooo excited to keep reading BLOOD and BONE. It rates up there with Curse in my fav list.
