Resolutions

Well, it’s a new year and with it comes new goals and resolutions both personally and professionally.

The personal goals are pretty typical, I suppose. Healthier living–eating better and exercising more (with the hope of dropping a few pounds) de-stressing, making an effort to keep in touch with friends, that sort of thing.

And I suppose the professional resolutions are fairly typical as well. Better time management. (I was keeping track this week, and it’s surprising how many time wasters can pop up and interrupt your day. But that’s a blog post all on it’s own.) Also, spend more time on promotion. I have love hate thing where promotion is concerned. Sometimes it can be a lot of fun, yet a large part of me resents the time it takes from writing. Still, it’s necessary. And lastly, maintain the blog. I’m aiming to update regularly, Mondays, Wednesday and Fridays at least.

So there they are folks. Now I just have to live up to them.

Nice new year resolutions. With 5 kids and my writing, I take it one day at a time. Every year I try to stick to my resolutions and never works. Good luck with yours.

Thanks, Bella. I usually don’t manage my resolutions very well either. I’m hoping I do better this year.
